Aims of the GBM Study Group: The RNA BIOCHEMISTRY Study Group sees itself as a forum for groups spanning the entire research field and aims to facilitate a regular exchange of information and experience between RNA researchers from German-speaking countries. This is mainly achieved by regular meetings, which give research groups with different expertise the opportunity to present and discuss their work in short talks and poster sessions. By inviting external speakers, particularly interesting aspects of current RNA research are highlighted in workshops. In addition, the meetings provide an opportunity for companies involved in RNA biochemistry to present new equipment, methods and trends.
Members of the Study Group: The Study Group was founded at the GBM Fall Meeting 2001 and currently has 460 members. If you would like to become a member of the study group, please send an E-Mail. Membership is free of charge. Wishes and suggestions for the organization of the study group (new topics, links to RNA tools, etc.) as well as for meetings of the study group (conference program, perspectives for joint proposals, etc.) can be sent to the speaker of the study group.
